How about controlling your own fate, by having your own filter system? Other wise you are relying on others to save 20 liters a day, OR ELSE you will have to BOIL IT!

All this rain has 'swamped' their filtration / treatment facilities with too much silt washed into the reservoirs by deluges of rain.
