Standard with 1/4" NPT Pressure Gauge Hole (Brass Plug avaiable on request)

Always lubricate threads to avoid potential for 'binding'

Pressure pump pulses can 'effectively tighten the sump onto the filter head.

Inspect the bottom of the sump for stress cracks that can occur as the filter ages - if cracks then replace all filters in the set.
